Disney + Campaign

As part of an Advertising and PR class project, I co-developed a strategic campaign for Disney+ titled “Feels Like Home” to celebrate the platform’s third anniversary. The campaign focused on enhancing brand awareness, boosting subscriber consideration, and driving conversions through targeted social media engagement and compelling advertising content. Our approach included a series of thematic video ads, a press release, and social media materials designed to highlight the emotional and nostalgic connections Disney+ offers its audience. We conducted a SWOT analysis, crafted messaging tailored to key demographics—particularly families and young adults—and analyzed effectiveness through subscriber and revenue growth data. This campaign emphasized the power of positioning, design principles, and public relations tactics in cultivating customer loyalty and distinguishing Disney+ from competitors in the streaming market.

BSA Fashion Show News Release

I wrote a professional news release announcing the BSA Fashion Show to local and campus media outlets. The release emphasized the event's legacy, mission, and collaboration with Black-owned businesses to celebrate culture and community.

The feature story explored the behind-the-scenes process of planning the fashion show, capturing personal insights from organizers and the vision behind this year’s theme. It showcased the event’s impact on student identity, self-expression, and cultural pride.

Barclay's Deli & Corner Store: PR Media Kit

In a PR course, I designed this media kit for the fictional grand opening of Barclay’s Deli & Corner Store in the Harwood neighborhood of Baltimore. Designed to generate local press coverage and public interest, the kit includes a press release, business backgrounder, and event details. The materials emphasize Barclay’s mission to provide affordable groceries, support local vendors, and serve as a welcoming hub for neighborhood residents.
